Job 8681: Client Consultant

Location: FL-Tampa  
Southeast (AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC & TN)
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000, DOES plus bonus.
Bonus & Incentives: 1) 20% paid on 1st year sales/revenue, plus 2) 10% trail paid semi-annually on persistent AUM.
Position Responsibilities: Our client, a well regarded asset management firm with over $17B in AUM, has consistently met a variety of investment and risk management needs for a diverse client base. The firm has more than 6,000 accounts and provides a full range of asset management services for Taft-Hartley plans, corporate retirement plans, endowments, foundations, high-net worth individuals, and public funds spread across all 50 states. The Client Sales Consultant is accountable for selling a variety of investment and financial consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and middle market companies. The incumbent will: 1) Call on middle market companies and business executives to sell a complete line of investment, financial consulting services and tax advantaged products, 2) Sell direct to prospects using industry marketing lists, leads from trade shows, networking with executives in the business community and referrals from existing clients, 3) Analyze prospects financial status, develop financial plan based on analysis of data, and discuss financial options with company officers and executives, 4) Work with prospects to establish appropriate investment objectives according to goals, risk tolerance, and individual guidelines, 5) Submit investment strategies for companies and/or officers of companies, 6) Prepare and submit documents to implement plan selected by client, 7) Maintain contact with client to revise plan based on modified needs of client or changes in investment market, 8) Monitor client service activities to make sure customer is happy, and, 9) participates in educational seminars to keep clients abreast of key issues. THREE NEW POSITIONS AVAILABLE based in: 1) Philadelphia, 2) Tampa, and 3) Chicago.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, None initially required
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: 1) 5 + years direct sales experience with a track record of over quota performance. 2) Strong presentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: None specified. However, please be prepared to provide specific information relative to last 5 years sales performance, plus information regarding academic success
