| Job Description: |
LIQUIDITY • Prepare weekly liquidity reporting package • Update, maintain and implement standing orders defining cash flow profile of assets and liabilities in coordination with Corporate Treasury • Play a significant role in updating the mandate for US ALCO to a more robust forum for liquidity related discussions and help Finance lead the effort • Participate in Liquidity Crises Planning, including scenario mapping and testing • Participate in Liquidity related initiatives and projects on a firm wide basis FUNDING CONTROL • Analyze funding costs (secured via repo’s / reverses, stock borrows/ loans and unsecured via equity, debt, other lines of credits) incurred on a legal entity basis to ensure cost of carry policy doesn’t leave the firm subsidizing (or benefiting) from certain businesses and/ or products • Formulate a carry policy that is economically valid and creates incentives for trading desks to prioritize their trading strategies accordingly. Develop a forum to meet periodically to discuss funding/ carry issues for different businesses • Develop a “sources and uses” of funds analysis and leverage it to design carry policy and liquidity analysis CAPITAL STRUCTURE • Monitor and optimize capital structure of One B/D in close coordination with Corporate Treasury and Central Funding Group • Participate in the decisions to roll forward debt, other lines of credit, funding facilities and guarantees coming due. | Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
5-10 years experience in a capital markets treasury. Knowledge of cost of carry, and funding transactions. Balance sheet reporting. Liquidity stressing and reporting. |
